What we did this week

This week we have ‘obviously’ brewed Tiller Pin 4.2% and also had the folks from Keighley Worth Valley Railway / The Royal Oak in Haworth down here to brew a 4.5% Porter, this 7-Malt Porter features just a hint of German Smoked malt which will add complexity but you’ll be hard pressed to taste it. British Admiral hops bring bitterness and balance to this beer.
Named 1867 from the date the line was opened, you’ll drink it first at the Royal Oak In Haworth on Cask then we’ll be bringing Kegs of it to the Keighley Worth Valley Railway Music & Beer Festival 15 – 18 October, you’ll find us at the Ingrow Station Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Available in about 3 weeks after the Royal Oak have had first dibs on it!

Also a new beer ‘That One’ especially designed to annoy bar staff as the punters ask for and point at ‘That One’, we are half tempted to make more beers called ‘The Other One’ and ‘No Not That One’, this is Rob’s idea of a Joke that he knows he’s going to be annoyed at! Ha!
The beer is a very Traditional Pale Ale, so its got a bit of colour to it from the British Maris Otter malt, we use a characterful British Ale yeast and British Fuggle hops. All this means the yeast character and malt are to the fore with the hops providing balancing bitterness with hints of spice. Available now in Cask.

And a new Lager! Bramble Nose is an old Yorkshire Dialect term for someone with a big red nose from drinking too much. This beer is a 4.2% British Malts and hops, using Bramling Cross hops with a Kolsch Style Lager Yeast. All this makes for a solid lager with a firm bitterness and a light herbal character. We have given it the Gluten Free Treatment so it will be available once we have the test results back and can release it.

Pretty sure we forgot to mention Prepper’s Pale 3.9% which is a tasty little session ale hopped with German Mandarina Bavaria for some orangy citrus goodness! Available now in Cask.

Also returning, which we forgot to mention, is E=Mc Pale, and Aussie Enigma, Kiwi Motueka & Yanky Citra hopped Session Pale. 3.9% and Available now in Cask.
