Brewery antics this week
Here is a bit of a rundown of what we’re doing this week at Wishbone.
That’s not a Knife 3.9% Aussie / American hopped pale went into cask, and it’s tasting really good as an easy drinking session pale with some lovely fruity hopping from Galaxy, Enigma & Simcoe.

Also into cask went our latest Single Hop Blonde 3.4% with tasty New Zealand hop Nelson Sauvin, I could quite easily sink a load of these the hop character comes across well and the bitterness keeps you coming back.

Tuesday was our collab brewday with Kath from The Burnt Bear and her group of local business women, we are brewing for International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day, IWCBD for short. The beer is a session IPA and is going to be called Donna after the actual burnt bear that Kath took the name for the pub from so a good bit of local history. The beer is hopped with Mosaic, Galaxy, Ekuanot and Citra and we are fermenting with the Verdant strain of yeast for maximum haze and fruity character. This is also our 1000th brew so a double celebration for us.

Brewing Thursday will be Gaggle Lager 4.6%, probably our fruitiest lager recipe with Bobek & Lubelski hops bringing the fruit and spice.
Please order in all the usual ways, email, phone, txt, whatsapp etc
Cheers 😉
