Brewing this week are Tiller Pin for Keg! & Social Banter

After we cleared out from the Beatherder Festival we had some Tiller Pin Keykegs left over so we planned to discount and sell off just to get them drunk up, though it seems they have gone down very well with people so this week we’re brewing a little tank full of Tiller Pin which we will mostly put into Keykeg. We can’t sustain the discount we set to clear-out the leftovers from the festival so regular prices will be in effect, it’s all too easy to forget to cost for the price of the empty keg and the recycling costs and suddenly be out of pocket! Tiller In keykeg will be available in approx 2 weeks.

Also, its been a while since we brewed Social Banter, we’ve changed the ABV to 4.5% which we hope will let pubs/drinkers see more bang-for-buck rather than people being put off by the lower 3.8% with all those expensive hops thrown at it. Brewed with all the same hops and malts, available to order in Cask & Keykeg in about 2 weeks.

Beers in tank this week are Tiller Pin and Gaggle Lager to keep our stocks up, and both are available now.

A tiny Low Street / Wishbone Tap update

We had the joiner install the new staircase and strip out the old one, make good the hole left with new flooring. We had a builder instate a new drain connection ready for a ground floor accessible toilet, at the time of doing this they noticed a patch of Dry Rot…. cue me stressing and being too busy to actually look at it for myself for quite a few weeks…. anyway, once I did get to look it wasn’t too bad and we’ve had a survey done and will be getting a specialist contractor in to sort it before we do any other work.
Hopefully after this we can get another Skip in and finish clearing out the Ground and First floors before starting to remove all the rubble from the cellar, then we’ll need the Joiner back for some further work.
Then we’ll need to start working with our electrician on the first fix parts of a rewire.
