Brewdays and beer

We should probably give you a rundown of what’s been happening in the brewery these last couple of weeks, we’ve 2 Lagers in tank and have been chock full in the FVs.

Last week we had the folks from Kirkburton Beer Festival over to help out brewing our Strauss Lager and they’ll be having some of it in Cask for their festival. This tied in well with us wanting to split the brew adding some Weyermann Sinamar Malt Extract to make half of the brew a Dark Lager. The dark version will be called Johann.

Then this week we’ve had our lovely local CAMRA branch, Keighley & Craven, around to help brew Little chance to dance 6.2% IPA which only ever went into Cans once so it’s good to brew it again so we can get it into Cask and Keykeg. Available at the Skipton Beer festival 21-23th May.

Little chance to dance is branded up in support of Skipton Beer Festival’s chosen charity this year which is Yorkshire Dales Wildlife Rescue.

Other beer stuff; Dassler Lager will be kegged on Tuesday and Simcoe in sinewaves IPA will be casked and kegged. Lots of Tiller Pin has just gone into cask today too.

Cheers
