We will have the following beers to start with and will be swapping to more beers over the weekend.

Cask Beers, both Fined & Clear:

  • Tiller Pin 4.2% – Best selling American Pale Ale with Citra, Chinook & Cascade hops
  • Keighley Bitter 4.3% – Bitter hopped with Savinjski Goldings, Bobek and East kent Goldings on a malty Maris otter base

Keg beers, all Unfined and Vegan:
  • Loco Choco Lime 4% – Lime and Chocolate Pale ale, zesty and refreshing.
  • Chocolate velvet Gloss Stout 5% – Cacao Nibs and Powder used in this smooth drinking dark
  • Dassler Helles Lager 4.3% – refreshing lager brewed with Motueka hops from New Zealand
  • Rubix Cube 4.5% – Tropical flavours in this dry hopped pale from Sabro and Motueka hops

Swaps in and out will probably be Orange Cats IPA 5% and Constructivist Session IPA 4% but we’ll confirm nearer the time.

Hope to see you all there, last year’s event had loads of great food and stalls along with Beer and Cider flowing to keep the steaming wheels lubricated. And lets not forget the unmistakable smell of the steam trains in action all weekend.

Hey Ernie 3.9% Pale going into Cask today

Our second in a series Hey Ernie 3.9% Pale ale, this one should have had British Jester hops in it but we seem to have had a stock malfunction and it wasn’t in the coldstore. So Hey Ernie has First Gold hops in it instead, tasting great with an orange like marmalade-i-ness. A great reminder to brew with more a First Gold Hops in the future.

Beers on the bar tomorrow

Tomorrow, Saturday 28th June is our regular bar day, open from 12 while 7pm and food from Hullabaloo.

We are making some price changes, we have run the numbers and we need to ensure we aren’t running at a loss as was in 2024. So it’s time for sensible, structured and fair pricing, it’s hard work running a brewery these days and we’d really like to keep the brewery running. Trade sales look to be consistently not making our break even point! Soooo! It would be really lovely to see lots of you for beers this Saturday.

Here is the beer starting line up:

All the usual things apply, we have sloped and level access but our toilet facilities may not be suitable for those less able. We are family and dog friendly, please keep both under control.

Here are the price changes: Pint of lager/keg going up from £4 to £6, all Cask Pints now £4 or £5, only Blonde/s will stay at £3. Lagers were massively under priced.

We trust you will understand these increases, we have to try and stay viable.

Cheers Adrian, Emma, Paul & Rob.
