We are also going to be Kegging a batch of Tiller Pin this week, most of this is going straight to the Beat Herder Festival but we may end up with spare 30L Keykegs after the event, we’ll be sure to shout about it if we have spares.
Tomorrow, Saturday 28th June is our regular bar day, open from 12 while 7pm and food from Hullabaloo.
We are making some price changes, we have run the numbers and we need to ensure we aren’t running at a loss as was in 2024. So it’s time for sensible, structured and fair pricing, it’s hard work running a brewery these days and we’d really like to keep the brewery running. Trade sales look to be consistently not making our break even point! Soooo! It would be really lovely to see lots of you for beers this Saturday.
Here is the beer starting line up:
All the usual things apply, we have sloped and level access but our toilet facilities may not be suitable for those less able. We are family and dog friendly, please keep both under control.
Here are the price changes: Pint of lager/keg going up from £4 to £6, all Cask Pints now £4 or £5, only Blonde/s will stay at £3. Lagers were massively under priced.
We trust you will understand these increases, we have to try and stay viable.
Brewing today is our Beat Herder Session IPA 3.9%, hopped with Mosaic, Hallertau Blanc and Cascade hops. If anyone wants 10 or 20 litre Bag in boxes for next week please email info@wishbonebrewery.co.uk now.
Get this on keg at the Beat-herder Festival in July, also available direct from us in Cask and Keykeg, cask in stock now and more ready in approx a week along with keg once it’s naturally Carbed up.
Order in all the usual ways.
Photos from the first brewday with some of the Beat Herder folks.
Our Orange Cats IPA 5% going into Cask and Keykeg today, the casks are available to order now and the Keykegs will be ready in about a week once they have naturally carbonated in keg.
Orange Cats Pumpclip
The name comes from seeing people on social media saying orange cats are crazy, they are just as entertaining as all other colour cats
Hopped with American Mosaic and just a hint of Citra to round out the dry hopping. Unfined, hazy and Vegan.
Today we are brewing our 3.6% Blonde to top up stocks, if anyone wants 10 or 20 litre Bag in boxes for next week please email info@wishbonebrewery.co.uk now. Firkins and Pins will be filled.
Blonde pumpclip and hop pellets
Blonde is hopped with Australian Ella and German Hallertau Mittlefruh, an easy drinking beer and summer refresher.
Our best selling Tiller Pin 4.2% Session Pale is brewing today, originally brewed for The Boathouse in Skipton in it’s natural environment, available to everyone else as long as you aren’t in Skipton.
Tiller Pin
Brewed with all British Malts and hopped with American Citra, Chinook & Cascade, subtly dry hopped at the end of fermentation. Fined and Clear in cask. In stock in Firkins now, Pins will be available at the end of next week.
If you want this in 10L or 20L bag in box please get in touch now and we will fill direct from tank to order next week on Friday.
Our Velvet Gloss Stout 5% is going into cask today, smooth drinking and british hopped. Available to order now in Firkins and Pins, 30L Keykegs available in about a week once naturally carbonated.
Velvet Gloss
Casks and Kegs
If anyone fancies that Wood Firkin of Velvet Gloss and can do a quick turnaround on it give us a shout (Max 2 weeks from this post).
In tank now and going into cask & keykeg tomorrow is an experiment in brewing a beer like Tiller Pin but without the reliance on hops from America. With the US Political happenings and Tariffs being bandied about willy nilly it seems pertinent to try and use hops from other countries. Maga made me do it 4.2% is exactly the same British grown Malts but we are using UK and New Zealand grown hops to try and approximate the flavours in Tiller PIn. We have UK Grown Cascade and Chinook hops which go in the copper and trying to replace American Citra with a combo of NZ Superdelic & Nectaron, then in the dry hopping we are trying NZ Taiheke (NZ Cascade) to replace the American Chinook and a blend of Superdelic & Nectaron again to replace the Citra.
The beer is tasting lovely from tank and definitely has some similarities to Tiller Pin, the photo above still has yeast in it but it will be fined and clear once served in a pub. Bag in Boxes (10L or 20L) could be filled tomorrow 13th June if anyone wants, let us know do day if so.
Also brewing this week are Velvet Gloss Stout 5%, Orange Cats IPA 5% and Dassler Helles Lager 4.2% (Dassler is 30L keykeg only and won’t be ready for at least a couple of weeks)

We’ll be really keen to hear what you think of ‘Maga made me do it’, we might just think up a proper name for the beer and make it a Gluten Free beer for a future iteration.
Our next brewery bar day is Saturday 28th June 12 til 7pm, we will have the usual 6-handpulls and 4-keg Taps.
All the usual things, we are family and dog friendly, keep your kids on their leads and your dogs under control, or words to that effect! We have sloped and level access but our toilet facilities may not be suitable for those less able.
Hullabaloo are on duty, below is what they’ brought us last time’ll be bringing.
